About Plush Potions

Plush Potions creation was the result of one woman’s quest to resolve a few minor pregnancy woes. I have always been a fanatical lotions and potions woman who loves the daily getaway and treat of pampering my skin. In today’s hectic world, spa style skincare products are a quick way to recharge and relax.

During pregnancy I found that my sense of smell was so heightened that I was unable to wear perfume or use traditional bath and body products. Did I mention that I have always been a fanatical lotions and potions woman? Adding to the stress of pregnancy, I no longer had my daily retreat in a simple body butter or aromatic shower gel. The scents of my old traditional bath and body products were just too strong and lingering throughout the day ultimately causing and/or increasing my pregnancy nausea. Also, I found that during pregnancy my skin began to deceive me with all sorts of little rashes, rough spots and skin sensitivities that would crop up where clear skin had existed just hours before.

Without the ability to use traditional lotions, balms and creams, what was I to do? So, I decided it was time for some investigative work. I spent hours, days, weeks and ultimately years researching ingredients and products to find what would become my own line of bath and body products. The aromas were fresh and uplifting but not too strong and the scents were lasting but very subtle. The creams designed to reduce and/or eliminate the host of skin rashes and dry spots that were ever evolving were a dream come true. Don’t get me wrong, this did not happen overnight as it sounds.

Much hard work and time spent was invested into the creation of these products but it was so much fun for me it became my passion and relaxation time. I was like a mad scientist hard at work finding and creating skincare solutions. I loved my new creations so much I began to share them with friends, creating practical and useful gift baskets containing products that my friends loved as well. Soon friends began asking to purchase products to use for themselves or give as gifts and the rest is history.

I now have two children and we have been through a whole host of skin issues and as a result Plush Potions Essential Potions, Kid Potions and Baby Potions were born. Our family uses our entire line of products daily. So, this is not just a business to us it is something we believe in. Plush Potions will continue research and development to grow our product lines with even more wonderful products to provide a little pampering to everyone’s day. Everyone needs a little personal spa time.

All of our products are made in small batches to ensure the finest quality. Absolutely no animal testing is done on any of our products.
